Bio
As an Architectural Photographer I work in light, shadow and geometry. I approach every property with knowledge of the architect’s intentional composition and desired impact of the space. From the gentle way light affects a room to the way a subtle curve accentuates a living space, I always search for the proper angle. Twenty years of experience developed my discerning eye and honed my abilities as a craftsman.
The use of available light sets my photos apart from sterile images that rely on external lighting, whether flash or strobe. Such methods wipe away the warmth of the subject matter when shooting in color. Instead, I find the High Dynamic Range (HDR) approach to be the better, more challenging choice. This style relies on exposure blending to capture the best representation of what one sees with the naked eye. As a result my photos possess both the technical and artistic integrity that honors the architectural subjects.
